How we handle your personal data — UK GDPR compliant.

Last updated: May 2026

1. Who we are

TheTravelXperience UK Ltd ("TTX", "we", "us") is a company registered in England and Wales. Our registered office is 15 Berkeley Square, Mayfair, London W1J 6EH. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

For privacy questions, email privacy@thetravelxperience.com.

2. What we collect

  • Contact and enquiry data — name, email, phone, the message you send via the contact form or quote requests.
  • Booking data — traveller names, dates of birth, passport details, departure dates and airports, dietary and accessibility requirements.
  • Membership data — your TTX Circle application: city, profession, referral source, and your answers to membership questions.
  • Payment data — card details are handled by our payments provider (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
  • Technical data — basic logs (IP, browser) and cookie identifiers (see our Cookies policy).

3. How we use it

  • To respond to your enquiries and quote requests (legal basis: legitimate interest / consent).
  • To plan, book, and operate your travel (legal basis: contract performance).
  • To meet our legal obligations including ATOL, anti-money-laundering, and tax (legal basis: legal obligation).
  • To send service updates about your bookings (legal basis: contract).
  • To send marketing about new packages and member events, only if you opted in (legal basis: consent — you can opt out at any time).

4. Who we share it with

  • Airlines, hotels, ground transport providers, and tour operators delivering your booking.
  • Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email), Neon (database hosting), Vercel (web hosting).
  • UK government bodies where required by law (HMRC, immigration authorities).
  • We do not sell your data and do not share it with third-party advertisers.

5. International transfers

Some travel partners and infrastructure providers are based outside the UK/EU. Where data is transferred internationally we rely on UK International Data Transfer Agreements, EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or adequacy decisions, as appropriate.

6. How long we keep it

Booking records: 7 years after travel (HMRC). Membership records: while your TTX Circle membership is active and for 3 years after. Marketing data: until you withdraw consent. Logs: 90 days.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data; object to or restrict our processing; and (where processing is by consent) withdraw consent. Email privacy@thetravelxperience.com and we will respond within one month.

You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified to active customers by email.
